Sarawak Tourism Board’s (STB) inaugural photography and videography competition themed "Sarawak: A Journey Awaits" looks to provide a platform for Malaysians to showcase their talents and creativity.
All submissions were judged on their originality, concept, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit.
A panel of five hand-picked judges – coming from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities – were chosen to ensure the judging remains fair and balanced. The judges went through several rounds of blind evaluation to ensure the deserving photos were chosen as winners.
In addition to showcasing the talents of Malaysians, the competition also looks to showcase and promote the beauty of Sarawak. Selected photos will also be made available for download to those signed up to STB’s Photo Library.
